I run the biggest GNR group and the Izzy group, over there. Hell, you can just sign up and use it, without really DOING anything, since it records all your songs for you.

Title: Re: Last.fm Post by: Loaded NightraiN on July 23, 2007, 09:01:28 PM How exactly does this work?? What are it advantages ???
Title: Re: Last.fm Post by: Loaded NightraiN on July 24, 2007, 12:56:12 PM You get an account on it, download the program thing and it automatically gets the info of what you listen to and displays it on your page. Every week it takes what you listen to and puts it into various charts. It also matches your tastes to other users and finds bands you might not of listen to/heard of that match your tastes too :) Sounds cool... Thanks dude :peace: Title: Re: Last.fm Post by: CheapJon on July 24, 2007, 12:59:14 PM mine doesn't work.. it has my old itunes history but i guess i've played like ?20-30 at least since yesterday and there's nothing new?

Title: Re: Last.fm Post by: Hammy on March 19, 2009, 09:49:27 PM Thanks to Evo I have just discovered Spotify and I can't speak highly enough, instead of playing music off last.fm its far better to play it on Spotify and have it scrobble to your last.fm profile, no limits on play counts, quick and easy to find music, well worth using! : ok:

Title: Re: Last.fm Post by: CheapJon on April 13, 2010, 03:00:30 PM a tip for people still using last fm for statistics and shitz, just came across this site http://www.normalisr.com/ where instead of counting the songs you've listened to it actually estimates how many minutes you've listened which IMO gives a more fair result
all you have to do is to enter your last fm username and in less than a second you have this new list :) Title: Re: Last.fm Post by: freedom78 on April 13, 2010, 04:02:01 PM a tip for people still using last fm for statistics and shitz, just came across this site http://www.normalisr.com/ where instead of counting the songs you've listened to it actually estimates how many minutes you've listened which IMO gives a more fair result all you have to do is to enter your last fm username and in less than a second you have this new list :) Funny...I wrote a last.fm journal about how metal music gets the shaft because all those 10 minute tracks count as one track, but 3 minute pop songs count the same. And, predictably, Opeth moved up 18 spots in my top 50. Thanks for the link! |
