Title: GNR Ritz 1988 AVI Full Video for Download
Post by: Bandita on May 30, 2006, 12:47:26 AM
I posted this in another forum so I figured I would share it with you guys as well if anyone is interested.? Was DVD (VOB) converted to AVI file since I have no DVD burner.? As MTV aired in 1988, no track breaks, missing Mama Kin as it wasn't in the MTV Broadcast.? Download and extract with WINRAR.? Feel free to share to keep the links alive. :hihi:

GNR at the Ritz 1988
AVI Video 720 X 480
Bitrate 128kbps
Audio MPEG Layer 3
Video Compression XVID
534 MB total ripped from DVD files
Running time 55 mins approx, full not broken into videos

Full set as was televised on MTV (logo present on screen) minus Mama Kin which was not broadcast as far as I know as I actually watched this broadcast back in 88. Has some mixed audio source where some of the cursing is bleeped and some is left in.  Lost some quality in the conversion but still looks ok.

Here are the RARs for GNR at the Ritz 1988

Here is the artwork that came with the original DVD file that I had in case anyone wants it although it seems KOHD is out of place on the tracklist as it is played at the end of the file on my version.

This post is in rar format which means you need all 3 files and to extract them with winrar and it plays as one big file 55 mins runtime.  The video is partially censored as it was the MTV broadcast but there was a second audio mix in where some of the cursing was cut back in but for the most part censored as I received in the textnotes when I originally downloaded the file.  Still a fantastic show portraying old school GNR at their best. :D
