Title: Eddie Trunk 2003 - Now
Post by: alternativemonkey on February 16, 2006, 10:55:41 AM

If the leaks we have just hear ("IRS" and "Better") date to the September 2003 Eddie Trunk show, I have to wonder why Axl is still waiting to release "Chinese Democracy".  Seriously, these are cool songs. It isn't AFD, but its modern rock. Axl "coulda been a contender." Axl whats the truth? What is the hold up? Buckethead and the rest of the band members thought there was enough to be released. What is going on?

I just can't see these leaks as being a part of the Trunk CD. ?Nah, I believe it could be from the strip club. ?Some DJ probably recorded it off the PA. ?Thats just my theory though.

They don't sound that close to being ready. ?I would think that Axl would have been playing much more "complete" songs at the club.

These are from the trunk CD. I'm fairly confident of that.

And dont be surprised if the material from the club gets leak not too far down the road. Rumors are it was "taped" as it was being played.  :smoking:

Isn't the quality a bit too high for that?

Good theory though.
