Hey guys,

Just a heads up for all of you in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area (I know there's a few) - on 97.9 X, Sausage just said "Its the answer to the #1 question - what's the question? I'll have it at 4:10" - it could be nothing, but just posting it here in case it does turn out to be GN'R related.

EDIT: Just want to add that I'm not trying to start rumors or say that this is GN'R related. Its just odd the way he mentioned it, hyping it like it was some kind of big deal.

Sounds to me like he's gonna give the answer to some contest question like at most radio stations. Sounds like you really "jumped the gun" on this one. :hihi:

Never know..he just came on again: "And at 4:10..I'm gonna have the answer to the question. What question? THE QUESTION."

He really emphasized that this is THE #1 question on people's minds. They're a rock station, they play GN'R, and the #1 question in rock is when the album is going to come out.

I firmly expect it to be something stupid that he's getting everyone psyched up for - but he's really stressing that this is something major.

Only time will tell.

At this point..I wouldn't be surprised..and it could just be ironic that he had a talk break before GN'R and he's pimping the announcement as he would before any song..but the irony is too good to pass up....

It seemed to be some kind of big announcement. I wasn't trying to jerk anyone around. Just that you don't get too many "big announcements" - and he made it sound like it was something huge.

I clearly said that there prob. wasn't anything to it, but when you tease it before GN'R, and make it right after VR, you start thinking...

If it helps, I just called and told him that he let me down! Basically said that he made it sound like he had a huge CD/concert announcement. He said, and he has a valid point, that he wanted to make some noise about it - can't blame him. He did apologize if I felt strung along though and asked if he could do anything for me while I was on the line - since he already played GN'R, I politely declined!
