Title: New Woody Allen film "Match Point"
Post by: RichardNixon on January 16, 2006, 12:19:48 AM
If you are a fan of Allen's work, you have to see this film. It is excellent, perhaps his best film ever. Somewhat Hichcock-like. A bit like "Crimes and misdemeanors." I don't want to give the plot away, just trust me, see this film, you'll love it.

First I've heard of it. I'm a big fan of his, although I hated Crimes and Misdemeanors. Although Manhattan, Annie Hall, Hannah and her Sisters, Broadway Danny Rose, and Manhattan Murder Mystery are classics. Is it in theaters or already out on DVD? I'll have to check it out. Hitchcock would turn over in his grave if he heard you say his name in the same sentence as Woody Allen. :hihi:

I don't think Hitchcock would mind...It's in theatres.
