Title: My Best Friends Wedding...
Post by: Queen of Everything on January 15, 2006, 08:56:23 AM
I just watched the movie "My Best Friends Wedding" and I cried (I'm a female shut up!) I have a best friend (Male)? who I love to bits, and the movie always makes me wonder... do I love him or am I in love with him?? And whats the difference??

That movie always makes me wonder...
Does anyone know the difference?

???

1. You are in love- will be divorced down the road with a couple no-good bratty kids.
2. Love, but not in love- will die alone.
3. Stay away from piece-of-shit Julie Roberts moves. She sucks.

Btw, the difference is, you want to bone, or be boned by people you think you are in love with. Sexual attraction is the difference.

this movie is a piece of art.
one of the greatest movie off all time.
it's beautiful and deep. and so powerfull.

this is what cinema should be like. beautiful dialogs. no clich?. beautifully written and shot. art.

not like all these mainstream flicks for empty heads.

To love is non-specific, like your love for your parents, siblings, God, friends. But to be in love with someone is more focused on having a romantic relationship or interest with another person. If you think about him all the time and you're happiest when you are with him, then you're in love.

Hang on, wait a minute...

Isn't this the movie that had it's ending changed after it was shown to a test audience and they didn't think that it was that great? The Julia Roberts one that I mentioned...

Maybe it's not. But I think it is.
