Post by: shaun on October 20, 2005, 09:26:14 AM
This is a 1st for me. Never knew Pretty Tied Up came out as a CD single.
Was there ever a video?

It's a promo single so there's no other tracks.

I always thought Pretty tied up was meant to be the third single, but when Izzy left they changed their plans and released only 'Izzy-free' singles.

It's not hard to find at all. Actually, it's one of the most common promotional items out there. Go check ebay and you should find it easily ;)

Yeah I have one of these. If it's in original condition, there should be wrapping under the string as far as I'm aware.

Depends what you call expensive, but in my book I consider it cheap.

string missing  = 0 value.

Otherwise, ?15 is the top price you should pay IMO.

I was thinking it was fairly expensive....only really collectable CD/Vinyl of GN'R's of any real expensive price is an original Live Like A Suicide right? Also on a side note (slightly unrelated and in the wrong section :-[ ) Does anyone know who the fuck Grease The Palm Records were/are there releases unofficial (i'm guessing they were).  See i have a 2 Disc 7'' GN'R Vinyl released by them, Disc 1 is Jumpin' Jack Flash (Studio '87) and Paradise City (Rehersals); Disc 2 is They're Out Ta Get Me (Rehersals) - [That's how it is spelt btw] and Anything Goes (With Different Lyrics).

If you think LLAS is the only expensive collectible, you ain't seen nothing  ;D

Grease the palm records is a bootleg label.

CD/Vinyl wise i meant, i've never seen any other CD/Vinyl aside from the odd box set at a real expensive price (signed stuff aside)

The top hat makes me miserable too : I can't get my hands on the (complete) volume 1 at a reasonable price  :crying:

Quote

I can think of a few picture discs and promotional CDs that are as expensive, if not more, than LLAS.

Ahh my mistake, never seen that before, maybe it's cos i only search on ebay for stuff available to the uk....i was just going off what i'd seen and what the vinyl shops i use have told me, the dude who does trades/imports there said LLAS was one of the few GN'R Vinyl rarities of any high value.

Yeah, that's one of the items I was thinking of. When you start collecting GN'R seriously, you realize LLAS is not that scarce after all....

I believe my Dad has that one sitting around somewhere. Anyways, I've got 3 of the PTU promos.

I only have volume 2. Officially, there are 500 copies of each, but strangely enough the first one seems to be scarcer  ???
