The idea is that if you post bogus, someone will notice and change it back (it remembers the changes made). That's why it's up-to-date on most stuff: if you saw an out of date gn'r page and could update it, i'm sure you would :)
IMHO, Wikipedia is one of the greatest ways to find out stuff about everything. ps: Everyone can set up their own wiki for collaborative collecting of knowledge linked in a sensible way. Wikipedia is a great source for information, but to use it as only source on anything is just stupid. Someone also changed the last bit on what Axl told a fan in Malibu.. Some people just have too much time on their hands. |
