Title: Touting Guns N' Roses
Post by: parisrocks on June 15, 2005, 01:54:35 AM
Did you know that  a.f.i.  boast GN'R in every way possible?

They wear clothing, cover songs, and list Axl and GN'R as inspiration.

Who else waves the Guns N' Roses banner?  (Hoobastank, but they suck)

Hoobastank is nothing but a poor mans Incubus so fuck them, btw Incubus used to be good but now they blow as well, so does A.F.I for that matter. And this topic has already been posted under the thread "Are their any celebrity GnR Fans".  :peace:

yeah they fucking suck, it seems alot of times I hear a band say they were majorly influenced by GNR, but I sure as hell can't hear it in their music, and they usually suck

the manic street preachers do an acceptable cover of it's so easy. i'm pretty sure they like gn'r, but there's very little influence on their music.

GN'R influenced them sure, but their style is completely different. What do you expect? GN'R was almost as mainstream as Metallica is now.
