To me, the mood of this version definitely is more in line with the lyrics. It is suppose to be a sad song-November Rain conjures up cold dreary winter days. Axl's vocal fits perfectly with the feel of the song. He sounds like he is about to slit his wrists. It is quite a sad and moving number in that stripped down fashion. :'( :'(
