I think he was already a famous pop artist when axl approached him, but he has sure profited from it, although he was almost sacked by feminists all over the States :hihi:

The first question is how many of these "14 million" albums sold had his artwork on the cover, or for that matter even anywhere in the album? Second if you're going to sell your art to a no name band, you can't expect to make a lot of money out of it. Either the band will become famous or not, and probably not.
