Dizzy plays Don't Dream It's Over by Crowded House (a band featuring Neil Finn who's from New Zealand).

Sebastian Bach gets introduced as "Our good luck Canuck". Sebastian brings Axl a coffee called Faggs Brazilian Fiesta blend coffee.

Notes: Bubbles makes his first appearance in Japan. Axl introduces him with "You may not, you probably don't, but it doesn't matter, know who this is. And I'm not sure if it means more to him as an actor or the character to actually be here at Budokan tonight. So that's why we're gonna go ahead and do this, and basically put us all to shame. The introduction is followed by a few riffs from Dueling Banjos before they perform Liquor & Whores.

Frank is dressed as Bun E. Carlos from Cheap Trick (famous for their At Budokan live album). The outfit also features the trademark dangling cigarette.
