Guns N' Roses late show sparks complaints from residents
Leeds Festival organisers are expecting a barrage of complaints after it overran by more than an hour.

Guns N' Roses played until 1am because of delays caused by technical problems on the opening night.

The festival's licence was initially turned down by Leeds Council after opposition from residents.

A spokesman told Ananova: "There have already been complaints about the lateness of the gig and we're expecting more from the Friends of Temple Newsam.

"This is the first time ever we've overrun and we overran because of unique technical problems."

He said the festival appreciated the inconvenience caused to residents but said organisers felt they couldn't disappoint 50,000 fans.

The problems which delayed Guns N' Roses' performance were to do with their sound and video show.
