Slash Would Welcome Reunion Of Original Guns N' Roses
Guitar hero Slash is currently gearing up for the release of Ain't Life Grand, the latest album from his group, Slash's Snakepit. The release is the second by the guitarist since he left Guns N' Roses midway through the last decade, and it moves along musical lines similar to his former band. Still, Slash tells LAUNCH that he would jump at the opportunity to play some shows with Axl Rose and the rest of his former bandmates again.

"We've had so many offers to do gigs, and none of us has done it for the money," he says. "But if the band wanted to get together and go, 'You know what? Let's just hash it out for a second and then see where that takes us,' I would go and do a show. F--k, yeah. I mean, what would it take to go into three, four, six, 12 hours of rehearsal for one, two, three, four, five shows with Guns, with guys I f--king basically lived with for God knows how long. I would do it in a heartbeat."

But, Slash warns, "The underlying thing is that we have to be straight [with each other]. That's the only reason why we did it in the first place--we were clear on why we were doing it."

Ain't Live Grand arrives from Koch Records on October 10. In the interim, the band hits the road with AC/DC beginnnig Tuesday (August 1) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
