This documentary features current interviews with the remaining Queen band members as well as artists who performed in the legendary Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in London shortly after his death. Also included is rehearsal footage with the artists involved including David Bowie, Roger Daltrey, Axl Rose, Elton John, Annie Lennox, George Michael, Liza Minelli, Elizabeth Taylor, among others.

On Thursday (June 9th), the MTV Movie Awards gave Tom Cruise a generation award and they showed the highlights of his best movies. During the tribute, they played music from those movies and at one point GN'R's version of Sympathy For The Devil was played.
