VELVET REVOLVER Dismiss Video Ban Report
VELVET REVOLVER members Scott Weiland, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum presented the "Best-Selling Pop/Rock Artist" award to Avril Lavigne at the World Music Awards on Wednesday (Sept. 15) at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV. Check out pictures from Wire Image, Daily Celeb, Globe Photos and Film Magic.

In related news, ABC ePrep is reporting that the members of VELVET REVOLVER have made it clear that they don't put any faith in the report published in the Daily Star earlier this week that the group's "Fall To Pieces" video might be banned in the U.K. because of the graphic way in which it addresses Weiland's battles with drug addiction. Asked about the possibility of the clip being too extreme for a European audience last night at the World Music Awards, Scott and Duff indicated that they think Europe is far more receptive to controversial art than America.
