Guns N' Roses were a rock band. Guns N' Roses were totally badass. Guns N' Roses haven't put out an album in more than a decade. These are things you probably know. But did you know that GNR once sued K-Mart for damaging their reputation? Or that Slash told Charlie Sheen to go into rehab? Did you know that there's a musical inspired by the life of Axl Rose called "White Trash Wins Lotto"?

We bet you didn't, and that's where VH1's A2Z: Guns N' Roses comes in.

Join VH1 as we take you on an alphabetical, free-association celebration of Guns N' Roses, from their anecdotal A's to their idiosyncratic Z's. Each letter will serve to provide little-known facts about the rockin' life of GNR, as we explore everything from fan-worthy details (Axl Rose is an anagram for Oral Sex) to fall-over-funny truisms (Slash recently appeared on Trading Spaces).

For example:

A is for Arrested. Axl was arrested over 20 times in his home state of Indiana.

B is for Beverly Hills High. Slash went to the high school with classmate Lenny Kravitz.

C is for CPA. After quitting the band, Duff went back to school for a Finance degree with a minor in Accounting.

W is for Weak Ankles. Axl had to have his self-proclaimed "weak ankles" taped by a chiropractor before shows.

A2Z will attract the casual viewer with its humor and style, and the inquisitive enthusiast with its meticulous storytelling.

Guns N' Roses experts and in-the-know comedians will be on hand to balance out the elements, insuring informative, funny insights into the lesser-known parts of the band.

VH1's A2Z: Guns N' Roses - out to prove that there's more to GNR than a humongous police record.

The show wil air on Tue 17th at 12:30 PM.
