enormous posters [like these] should be hang up to promote the new album & possible tours, but with other information of course...

for example: that logo & picture + the CD release date. that's enough. they should appear all over the world...

but yeah... who are we??? we have ideas enough. unfortunately, the gn'r-entourage not...

Oki...went to some radio survey not far back ..it happened to be for RTL2, the biggest pop rock french radio.

They wanted to know if artists and bands were liked, if they got enough airplay or not. So made sure GNR got some more. Although they regularly play 8 GNR songs. But did my bit. I'll do some more if i can, also noticed that Classic Rock france knows about Chinese Democracy. I had sent emails around last year and told people to sit tightly for one day, it may come out and they'd be the 1st ones who want to know.

May soon work in radio myself ( a project, nothing's sure yet), so if i do, count on me.

This is just a reminder to all Street Team operatives that acitivities are, and should be, still ongoing. We need to ensure that all geographical areas are covered and all websites are ready for when the time comes. This will involve ensuring that you have all details of all appropriate radio stations/media outlets in your area etc..

Finalisation of the Street Team will not occur until we hear some official news, and Sanctuary are ready to move forward. In the meantime though, if we could just ensure we are 100% ready, that would be good. As of yesterday, Sanctuary were still doing their planning the release of the new album, so there are no clear cut timescales yet

Sanctuary have been informed of acitivites to date, and Jarmo has been introduced to them

here?s a list for the STREET TEAM that i?ve created (some things may be already someoneelses thoughts/ideas, if that?s the case i apologize for that!)


we could make the following and offer it on the main street team website:

-stickers for cars
-posters
-icq-skins etc.
-screensavers, desktop-themes
-mobile phone logos
-member card with specials for members
-meetings
-own online-radio-station
-best gnr-street-team-member-site award
-best gnr-fan-award

to make this things possible we could get some money with...

-building our own online shop with merchandise (street team shirts, caps,... and also bootleg-vhs/dvds, cd-rs of gnr at cheap prices
-an own donation account, maybe some bucks from everyone who wants to get an official member, other donations would be also welcome...

I agree, what the hell is going on. Can someone please tell us what exactly the street-teams are for and has some 'official' news been released about CD.

It seems like yesterday everyone was very negative about GnR period, and now we have folk about to issue CD posters and bombard radio stations....with what substance exactly.  Can you seriously expect any station to just play GnR because you disagree with GH and there is no sight of CD...or are you supplying radio stations with CD tracks that have been burnt of the web and asking them to play these in hope of forcing CD's release...confused?

Another thing we should probably do is put together together a Street Team information sheet/FAQ which will detail the activites of all of the local street teams etc.. and also answer questions that people have, as we keep getting the same questions asked over and over again
