I can cover all national French media, and local radio stations in the Paris area.

I also think Jarmo would make a good spokesperson (and Axl seems to already know him  hihi ).

OK, Jarmo will be spokesman for Europe

And as the clearest votee at the moment, he will also be made overall spokesperson for the short term. He will be introduced to Merck later this week or next week

We will give it until Friday to let things settle first

i can't see us gettting a great deal of joy on british radio to be honest. The main station for our demographic is radio one, and they are "too cool for school" to play gn'r. Virgin Radio will be easier to get some change out of, but if we want some real exposure for guns it's gonna take a big effort to sway the BBC to our viewpoint.

Most local stations where i live are for over thirties, but the biggest DJ for my area comes into the shop where i work so i'll refuse him service till he starts playing the new single regularly.

Chris Moyles is a GN'R fan. I remember him talking about the Leeds festival and he plays the songs sometimes, which is cool cause R1 dj's have a set playlist from above.

I reckon if we just send all the shows emails every day they will say something. Mark & Lard always read random stuff out. Wink

Shame this didn't happen last year. I sent their producer an email pretending to be a stripper and he gave me his work phone number, I could have bombarded him but he left.

I'd also like to mention that I'm running a Greek GN'R fan club.

All the members will help with the street team.

Plus I can promote it through the fanzine...

I've also created an email for the street team: streetteam@gunsnroses.gr

I will do anything in the Essex/London area of England.
I know that Chris Tarrant on Capital Radio is a big fan of SCOM and i'm sure he would give the band some airplay but the station is rather more pop orientated than Radio One but it never hurts to try.

I know what you guys are saying about British stations. Radio 1 will play them but only during certain shows, Capital are shite - all they do is play the top 10 chart on repeat, that said if Guns do well they`ll follow the rest of the world and play them, just don`t expect them to put their collective necks on the line.

Virgin Radio are a good bet, but my greatest hopes are on my personal favourite station - Xfm, which is an "Alternative" station, play lots of rock, indie and always gives young bands a chance, i don`t see them discounting Guns on their history/line up changes. They already play classic Guns daily on their request show.

I`m not sure - although this kinda rings a bell. I`ll have a look on the site and see if i can find anything out. If this  is the case then they will be one of our strongest allies over here.

This is all i could really find - just talks about the Dockland Arena show on August 26th.

Intesting point to add
Quote
London?s Dockland Arena on August 26th, a few weeks before Guns ?n? Roses are scheduled to release their new album ?Chinese Democracy?.

Nothing about sponsoring those gigs but they do seem to follow the stories as the appear.
