I am a big fan of KR hence the reason I started the thread. So far I am pretty disappointed, there a few good songs but too much country in it for me. I guess b/w "Picture" going number 1# on the country charts and his friendships with Hank Williams Jr and Johhny Cash. Devil Without a Cause and History of Rock are kick ass. I will keep listening to this new one in hopes of getting into. If not I will see him for sure when he comes to town, he kicks ass live!!

I still haven't been able to get hold of his new album (his 2003 release) - it wasn't released in the Uk for some reason

Because that was the last album of his i got hold of in the UK it was ok other stuff was better i think that might if been before 2003 though i haven't really kept up with him recently i went off him and also got pissed he hardly ever comes over here. I would not mind getting the follow up to it

Yeah last year he released the follow up to Cocky - that the album i'm referring to, its self titled but isn't available in this country

it does not suck, its a Great album!!!
probably as rock as he will ever get....dowload black bob or jackson mississippi to get a taste of things u can expect from the album.
He is one of the true "rockers" left, albeit a little commercial

It's out this tuesday. The All Music Guide gave it 2.5 stars, and Rolling Stone gave it four.
I like his stuff, so I'm looking forward to this.

Rock N' Roll Jesus.
From what I've heard, it's a cool sounding album.

He was on Stern this morning. They played a couple of the tracks from the album. Sounded pretty good.
