That is (was) a great soundtrack.

I remember enjoying the contributions from Korn, LB, Everlast and Eminem also.

That CD got spun to death in 1999 in my car and apartment.

I still have the soundtrack on CD.  Was a darker film for Arnold to do,  which I liked.  Saw it when it came out in theaters, but not good enough of a film for me to take the time to go back and watch again 25 years later.

Could have been much better and yes, it had it's few moments (Byrne!). Good director too. But was obviously rushed (to meet 1999-to-2000)...

Yeah I don't remember it being that good. I remember walking out thinking it could have been much better. It had a cool premise as I recall but the execution wasn't that great. And all I remember is the ending and what Arnold did. I don't want to post any spoilers just in case someone here hasn't watched a 25 year old (has it been that long?) movie.

The historical significance of this song is fascinating to me as it was the first No Slash and Duff song for official release and unfortunately brought on a dark age of fringe fans who would start saying this isn't GNR because fill in the blank wasn't on it. Much like the whole Chi Dem album i think as the years go on from a real GNR fan will look fondly back on this era of music because it is really good but because of who wasn't on it it gets a scarlett letter. But think it happens to be a very good song.
