I’m getting off this train it’s a fucking joke Guns N’ Roses has become a kin to kiss.  The fact that they can’t put out anything new since 2016 is pathetic.  None of these songs even sound like Guns N’ Roses. I don’t even understand the direction of their music anymore.  To each their own. Quite frankly, they’ve become a  cash grab touring  band ,that’s it .  You’d think between all their talent they could actually release a memorable, decent song. It’s quite clear now how instrumental Izzy was in there music catalogue

To be fair, these last 3 songs are really GNR in name only.  Only diehards like us and other assorted apologists consider CD to be true GNR.

I think you'd have to at least least see what the 7 people on stage every night the past 7 years could come up with on their own before you make that call.

Will that ever happen?  Well...

I’m not complaining, I’m stating my sentiments, and this single by the way has been the messiest dumbest release ever it was supposed to be released a week ago then it leaked. why reunite to release music from a different band.  Perhaps I am wrong. Hey hey, but I don’t believe you.

Hahahaha

Nice.

I have not listened
To any demos or leaks
Since 2008.

It’s all new to me…
Perhaps, Atlas, State of Grace…
Never heard any.

No locker room leaks,
Zero.  It’s ALL new to me.
So…I’m excited!!!

I 100% respect your willpower.  And freely admit I don't have even 1% of it.

I grab everything I can the second it comes out.  I reject the idea that it "ruins" it.  Or that it "spoils" it.

I listened to the shit out of the RIR III versions and the leaks for YEARS waiting on these dum-dums to get their act together.

Had fun doing it too.  I dug those tunes.

Pretty sure I bought a bootleg of that two decades ago off ebay. Back in the days when street of dreams was called the blues.

These songs are as much GN'R as Anything Goes, Reckless Life and Shadow of Your Love.

I'm in Pittsburgh, my account is in Sweden so I set my VPN to Sweden and I see it now that it's past midnight there...

Me too.

Three times in a row now.

Overall, I like it, it's ok. I like it more than I liked Absurd when it came out. With Hard Skool though, I was hooked from the start.

Hopefully Perhaps grows on me.

By the way, What happens at 1'41"? seems like a part is missing before the solo? Anybody else noticed it?

Only GNR decides what is true GNR.

I disagree that it's only "diehards" interested in Chinese Democracy.

This I Love averages more daily listens than most of Appetite for Destruction.

It's 2023 and not every GNR fan was listening in 1987.

I really like it... I think it has potential to be a huge hit.. Then again Rock music always takes a backseat.  Way better than the demo.... I think it's a better song than Hard Skool and Absurd.  Brain does a really good job on the drums.. Also like Duff's bassline's.  I'm interested to hear them play it live.

The official credits say it's Brain.

Slash hits a quick note before the 1 beat. It's a bit awkwardly executed, making it sound unintentional.

Does the keyboard lick remind anyone else of What Kind of Life by Slash's Snakepit?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5zsTiekUX4

Ironically the most industrial song Slash ever wrote.
