Would rather he just take the mic and say what he wants to tell us. Of course the last time was a little brutal.
Hell yeah! Bring it on Axl! Would love that.

I don't think Axl is willing to travel to Austin, TX just for an interview.

To be honest, when he chooses to do an interview, it'll be a big deal. I think it has to be someone / something he respects and "supports". Does he feel like giving an exclusive interview to this guy? I don't know.

No one has done a decent interview to Axl in the last decades. The best was Jimmy Kimmel. It also seems Axl hides or do not want to talk about things.

It might not be a terrible idea to go, and scope out Austin as a new residential locality? You never know, he could choose to move around one day? Plus, Axl likes comedy and joe has the “mothership”, so there’s that.

outside of Axl doing a book, I think JRE would be awesome! Joe is fair also. I don't think it would as bad as most think

Exactly!
This should have happened a long time ago. Hell, a two or three hour sit down with Izzy and Adler would carry a lot of interest in the conversation.
At this point I’d take a call in interview on Bob and Tom in the morning radio broadcast!

I'm getting a chuckle from this thread. Anyone who think JR doesn't get straight to the point or doesn't know what he's talking about obviously doesn't listen. The dude is super intelligent and does his research. He will get his guests comfortable and ask tough questions with respect. However, he has gotten into it and called out people. A simple youtube search will show you that. He's not going to be a dick but he'll ask hard questions. If Axl doesn't want to answer them, he won't. But Joe will ask why won't he. Axl will more than likely tell him and then Joe will respect that. But don't kid yourself, he will ask every question out there and if, for example, they tell him not to ask about certain things, then in the past Joe has said .... screw it, I won't have them on then. He's not one to waste time. I've listened to the guy for years and I've listened to him talk to people I've never heard of about topics that have no interest or are little known, and he almost always seems like he's an experts - because he takes his podcast seriously and does his research.

I think JRE would be a great one just because of how long it is, and how big it is. I've also been hoping for Marc Maron for a long time.
Axl is a great story teller and really funny guy so any podcast would be great.
But as far as getting in the weeds about the things hardcore Guns 'N' Roses fans want to know my favorite "interview" ever was right here on HTGTH when Axl (Dexter) took questions from us.
When Tommy Stinson was on Maron he didn't talk about Guns until the end and mentioned that's the band he was currently in.. Maron asked "oh really, how long you been doing that?" Tommy said "uhh..the last 15 years".. so a bit more knowledge of the band would be nice.
