And I was just thinking about Steven. He got some kind of award in LA. I don't think he dressed himself for that. He looked like he didn't want the attention. Strange, he's normally more energetic than that. Introduced as being from Guns N Roses.
Anyway, nothing against Frank, Steven brings the magic to some of those songs. He's too high energy off the stage for me but I was wondering if he couldn't have a place on the writing/recording team?

Well that was a surprise, watching the Darts World Championships on TV in England and they've just done a montage for one of the players (Michael Van Gerwin) whilst playing The General! Was not expecting that.

So where does everybody live? Another fire in LA.
The internet has Slash living really close, possibly the evacuation zone.
Duff looks to be east/south of it. Heading Axl's way but pretty far off. That University in Malibu is about to go under possible evacuation, again.
The one map I was looking at had almost a circle of fire around the San Fernando Valley. Not even sure how people were getting out of there.

And it's still a major city in hell. Those poor people. Looks like it has expanded to the north, burning up the coast and north east. Axl and Duff look fine. Not really sure where Slash is but he's the closest.
Looks like a good time to sell and get out of there. Insurance is going to be unaffordable after this. Mother nature is turning that area into a desert anyway, no water for you.

I know! They need one gigantic sprinkler system they can just kick on from the ocean during wildfires. Something like the Alaska pipeline. Been a while since I've been out that way but I think all the electric lines are still above ground and it would be a good time to get those down in the ground with whole areas being wiped out. Not like this problem is going away. |

Yeah but we're not talking on a daily basis. I'm talking about a fire has broke out in that area. Use it like a fire hydrant. All those planes are using ocean water. They just need quantity and a quicker way to get it there. Before it cost them billions of dollars and people lose everything. They don't get much rain there any more with climate change. These fires and mudslides are not going away, they are increasing. California grape industry is already moving into Missouri. Their farmers see it coming. Not going to be the golden state for much longer. Good time to cash in and get out. I'd suggest St Louis but we're currently the murder capitol of the country, welcome to the jungle.  |
