touring with a new album would be logical, but probably another tour playing the hits

Continuing with those thoughts, I'm going with September 28, 1987 as the most important date in GNR history.  WTJ makes it's debut on MTV.

But without the band forming and playing their first show, there wouldn't have been that exact video.  hihi

Many bands form and play their first show.  It's your first big break where you live or die.

Then again there are many one hit wonders out there so that theory doesn't float.   hihi  Wonder what GNR considers their most important date?

I remember when they played 4 shows in LA in 1991, the last night Axl said something like "these 4 gigs are the 4 most important shows this fucking band will ever play". Don't know if he still agrees.

I always wonder what these 5 would have become in other circumstances,
how they would have evolved musically together, like the Stones, Led Zeppelin
or Queen for example

Have all the GNR twitters lately mentioning a city been European cities?  Maybe a hint at where the 2025 tour starts?

You mean the photos?

I think that's just because the 2023 European dates happened before the North American ones.

Might just be a date thing.  Tough getting through the year with no GNR.

Sorry to burst your "looking for clues in every GN'R social media post" bubble.

How are you coping?

I'm not sure.  hihi  There's no GNR tour to mark the month, date or day with.  Forget getting GNR stage time to help with local time, I have to google that.  Sometimes it's a different day.  hihi

There's always history!

Did you know that on June 11th, 1991, GN'R played the Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA? Then went back and played that same place in 2017, 2021 and 2023.

Oh yeah I suck at GNR history.  Good news is we're half way through the year and they may start announcing next year's tour dates in a couple of months.

Hershey you say.   Cheesy  Sounds like a road trip I would enjoy!  Thanks for the suggestion.  Amy, what do you think?
