It's funny.

When people tell me that Axl is not a good singer, I push back a little.  But I realize his vocals are polarizing and not for everybody.

So I make sure to ALWAYS follow it up with this : He may not be the best pure singer, but in terms of "rock frontman"...his peers can be counted on one hand (without the thumb).

Yeah.

Someone might not like the music he's made, or his singing, that's all a matter of personal taste. But there's absolutely no denying of the talent he has or his qualities as a front man.

This is my full view of axl

I think Axl was the best frontman in terms of showmanship without a full circus on stage. What you see is what u get.
He's not the best singer in the world (whatever that means) and it never was, except when it comes to sing with that kind of anger: that raspy high pitched voice is top 1.
If we talk about his music or his idea of music, he's really, really advanced. He knows what he's doing or where he wants to go, he can put togheter different styles without losing melody and harmony, even if sometimes (or all the fuckin times  ) he should remember this: the less the better. Lyrically he's very very good, even if sometimes he's a little bit repetitive (i don't know how many times i hear the  key word "blame" in his lyrics  ).

Putting it all together, he's obviously in my top 5
