This is fun. The neighbor is watching too from her house and we are texting back and forth. Like being there with your friends.

Wait, the neighbor wanted to video chat during this, oh hell no! Worse than being at a concert with friends. Not only are they talking during the show, they are looking directly at you and everything you do. Fuck no!

All this music listening takes me back to "lay around the shanty and put a good buzz on." I use to do that in my younger years, listen to music and enjoy life. You move into adulthood and there's just not the the time. You miss out on what your favorite bands are doing and new music coming out. Your friends are busy too and we all lost the music. It's a good thing to be grounded to the house.
Okay I'm not getting buzzed.
It's the music making me high.

Free streams on Feb 5 & 6 at 8PM ET. I'm going to check out one of these shows. Don't know this band but interested. Here's the description:
The Disco Biscuits are a jam band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band consists of Allen Aucoin, Marc "Brownie" Brownstein, Jon "The Barber" Gutwillig, and Aron Magner. The band incorporates elements from a variety of musical genres with a base of electronic and rock. Wikipedia

Everything about the Super Bowl is huge, right down to the pre-parties that get it started. Tonight, February 6 at 8PM ET, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong play live from Brooklyn Bowl to unleash some of the most bombastic and beloved moments from Super Bowl Halftime shows.
Throughout Super Bowl history, some of the biggest stars in music have gotten weird, wild, and bizarre during halftime, including Prince, Madonna, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and who could forget the Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake "wardrobe malfunction." If we know anything about Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, it's that this talented group happens to be great at cover songs.
This event is streaming free exclusively via The Relix Channel on Twitch. The band encourages fans to make donations at pigeonslive.com — a portion of proceeds will benefit The Rex Foundation and Conscious Alliance.

I missed this live but you can still watch it. Pretty cool. Out host seems to think he's the one being interviewed. Start at 17 minutes for the show. At 30 minutes for the pics.
Lots of talk about the old manual cameras. Trying to adjust focus and the F stop while looking through the view finder.
The old Vivitar adjustable flash so you could bounce light. Aww the memories. Yeah do that while you're doing drugs.

I love Dead music but how long does it take a jam band to get through 81 songs?
Labor didn't last this long. Happy Birthday Phil.
Er, I guess the GNR guys don't know any of the Dead guys. No birthday wishes between them.

I guess we should support Slash's kid's band. It's the only one I've heard of.

Yeah, it is a shame they had to fire Noah Weiland though. He seems to be going down the same path of his father.

Yeah, you got a wake up call kid. I hope he takes it.
I was watching a zoom thing on Janis Joplin. The presenter was saying there was one band member in Big Brothers and the Holding Company that didn't do drugs and he kept the whole band in check. When Janis dropped them she had nobody holding her back.

I hope so, hopefully someone can get through to him. Addiction is a horrible disease.
