That Republicans were silent on, now that Biden is going to get them out they're all up in arms. I think Biden should've kept the May 1st date though. I'm curious why he didn't.
Couldn't possibly be that Trump left with no actual plan in place to meet that deadline...

Facts are facts. Trump had an agreement to withdraw troops at a time that seemed appropriate for all involved.
call me a sheep all you want. at least i called out Trump when he bombed syria. i didn't support it and i made that known.
also, called him out on plenty of other things. trump supporters on this board consistently did that.
Libs having principles and calling out people on "their side"? doesn't happen too frequently on here. even when "their side" does things that clearly conflict with their morals and principles - ya know, like bombing innocent people.
you can call it out no matter who does it, or you can find a way to justify it. "but trump" can last you as many years as you like.
Before immediately going back to calling him Mr. Peaceful. Your token mild disagreements to create the illusion that you aren't the partisan hack everyone knows you are, don't fool anyone.
I love that your only move is vaguely gesturing at imagined hypocrisy. Says a lot.

i can pull the quotes on a variety of things i criticized trump on throughout his entire 4 years - Syria, tax plan, Jared, etc. i specifically remember stating when he bombed Syria that "this is not what i voted for" and i posted something very similar in here. that was a huge issue for me, and i was pissed.
i don't read every post in here, but i do not recall ever seeing you, or the other liberals in here disagree with the Dems, or call them out on their BS.
you called me a sheep. i'm just sharing facts to prove that is wrong. and anyone looking at this thread with an open mind, would see first hand that the individuals in the middle or leaning right have open minds, criticize both sides, and are not sheep at all. I do not see that from the libs on the board.
But i'm not calling anyone names, or trying to point out any hypocrisy. just pointing out my observations.

about 3 or 4 individuals. I was clearly referring to this board, not the "entire left". half my friends/family are liberals, and the majority of them have very open minds. I would never make a statement so ridiculously silly. so yes, i stand by my statements. and you have not disagreed.
we can only guess why you are lying about what i said.

"Gee why has nobody in here criticized Joe Biden for the past four years of Trump's presidency?"
(Before you desperately jump at a perceived inconsistency, it's a joke and the point is that Democrats have not held power for the last 4 years. The satire comes from the hyperbole. I will remember to hand-hold you through things from now on.)
You know, throwing around insults like "liar" is the problem with politics these days. You can't have a respectful disagreement with anyone who disagrees with you. Any impartial observer who walked into this thread would see that the centrists, liberals and leftists on here all act with respect. I do not see that from the rightists on this board.
My comment was following yours, so it should have been implicit that I was talking about the entire left on this board.
But don't let that stop you from making things up to cry persecution about.

It's May, I'm sure there are people out there who still think the election was stolen and the military will bring Trump back to the White House. Any day now.
Yesterday was international Workers' Day. It always amazes me that the parties around the world who cater to the rich elites always get regular average people voting for them. With promises of freedoms and tax cuts. The elites who were born into wealth keep selling the idea that more for them, is good for everyone....
But at least the wall was paid for by Mexico....

I'm not jumping in to your convo with sandman. Again, no interest in feeding any trolls. But I just read the first bit of your post.
Refresh my memory, but...didn't the whole board (except the conservs who ran away and hid after January 6th...and who continue to convey their cult like bias, in general, out in the world) just have a conversation criticizing Biden's response to the border issues? I swear I just participated in one?
Just wondering......

That can't possibly be true, or else it would seem to suggest the inverse of a certain somebody's claim about who on this board offers critique in good faith instead of partisan loyalty...
And we have to be fair, they have offered up the scathing critique of "his tweets are in bad taste". Always, of course, referring to "his tweets" instead of "his statements" to abstract the issue and obscure the fact that we're talking about his self-proclaimed beliefs and expression. You gotta avoid drawing the line of personal responsibility back to him as much as possible, you see.
I get all that, but what I don't get is that if they genuinely are anti-war and were critical of his Syria bombing, why was there zero tangible pushback from within the party for that action? I mean, it's not like words are cheap, right? Certainly these token criticisms that surface so reliably from his movement when pressed, couldn't be simple rhetorical cover for when you're backed into a corner, right?
I mean, we had leftists protesting Biden the day he was inaugurated, as I remember. I must be foggy, but I can't recall any anti-Trump protests from the right. It must have something to do with all the moderate conservatives leaving the party in droves...

And you almost got the implication that your party is consolidating around extremism. As I recall we were talking about the amount of intra-party critique and diversity of opinion.

like i said, for some reason, i get mentioned frequently in this thread by a couple people. you just can't ignore me. no matter how hard some of you try.
i was not talking diversity of opinion in the republican party. as i've noted before, i do not like the republican party. i despise most politicians on both sides.
btw, how are those kids in cages doing? the foil blankets was a real nice look.
and are we back to praising cuomo again? lying about killing old people and sexually harassing co-workers....no big deal, right?
Libs sure do have diversity of opinion!
