Okay I'm not sure I can believe a word that came out of his mouth about the accomplishments but it sounded good.  Good bye you crazy man.

Pelosi is back behind him trying to act like she doesn't give a shit about what he's saying.  You're not a soap opera star lady.  It ain't going to be your way either.  Close to half the people in this country voted for what he's talking about.  It's about all of us, not about you.  It's time for this lady to go too.  Thank you for your service but you're just a polarizing as the guy in front of you.

I have to cuss or thank GNR a little bit for this.  hihi  I reflect on what Axl said about politics and his lack of involvement some years back.  Totally agreed, then Trump came along.  Always thought Trump was something I wanted nothing to do with for the obvious reasons.  Not that he's easy to ignore but then GNR started in.  They get my attention, clued in I better stop ignoring Trump and get in on what's going on.  Totally, blaming Trump though on why I can't go back to ignoring fucking politics.  hihi  Just makes it a little easy with some GNR.  Cheesy

I mean, other than the fact it was full of lies, nationalist/racist dog whistles, ignored the thousands of dead from a pandemic he grossly mismanaged, and basically functioned as the evil villain promising a comeback/sequel....it didn't directly incite insurrection and it was somewhat graceful (though he still won't mention Biden's name).

When you (aka Trump) set the bar low, I guess anything approaching decency looks good!

Um, Pelosi wasn't at Trumps farewell speech this morning. And yesterday's was prerecorded...and I didn't see her there, either.  What are you watching?  Was she on a network responding to it?

If you're looking for feedback on a "new" political thread, I'm good staying here.  The waters warm, the quotes are here and easier to transplant, and the discussion is already ongoing.

Maybe we could just change the title to a general politics thread, like we've had in the past?

Biden, during the virtual swearing in of some of the staff, basically told them if they discriminate against or mistreat someone, they will be fired on the spot.  Because everyone deserves to be treated with decency.

And we're mostly through the first Press Briefing from this administration. Not ONE lie. Not one bit of misinformation.  And not one attack on the press, or the opposing party.

Doesn't seem like she's having a rough time doing it, either.

It's a new dawn, it's a new day...and we're feeelin' good.
