One thing i think getting lost in all of this is, we are on the verge of having our first woman VP, our first black VP. This could be a historic night in America. Americans are saying it's time, this has to happen.

Here in Scandinavia, a lot of people have been looking on with disbelief on what's going on in the USA for the last four years or so. It's everything from what's been done, to little things like attacking Greta Thunberg on Twitter or claiming Finland rakes its forests...

Just like anywhere else, Trump has his supporters here as well.

I saw one on TV on election night. Part of the far right party. Obviously he went on and on about how Trump unites the country...


Right wing populists exist everywhere. Showmen who promise quick fixes for either complicated problems, or made up problems that don't really exist (Make America Great Again, fight communism etc.).
