I concur.  I think the Rio 2001 bootleg version sounds better than the album version.  "Street of Dreams" was a better title than "The Blues" though.

I actually just listened to the Rio 2001 in full out of boredom. that version of SOD is awesome.....I agree it is better than the album cut

NOOOOO!!! I didn't even have a chance to vote for If The World. By a mile, the most underrated CD track. Its sounds like a badass '70s movie theme. Infinitely better than CD, Riad, Shackler, Prostitute and Catcher.

It's barely any different. All I can think of is that he hits the high notes in the outro, which is better, in the studio. If you're just talking about the mix, I don't think it's fair to judge songs here based on the mix.

Why isn't it fair?

Besides, there are differences. The intro is totally different, where the 2002 version is more "in your face" with the drums and full-on electric guitars. Synth effects during the song has been stripped away in the final version.
