Have seen some weird shit on these polls - like Shadow of your love over SCOM (Just defies reasonable logic) but for Don't Cry to place so high on ONE and about to be bounced so early on TWO by the same people voting is a little hard to stomach

I'll agree about "Sweet Child o Mine" -- can't believe that got voted off so fast.

However, I disagree about "Don't Cry".  To me, the lyrics of the Alternate version are far inferior, making it a much different song.  I love the original "Don't Cry", and detest the alternate version.  Hence my vote, and many other voters by the looks of it.

I'm more of a melody/instrumentation driven listener than lyrics and it's the SAME song so that's where I have brain freeze trying to understand
I can get it if it went out quicker but to come behind some of the filler on this album that is still alive is what seems odd
Oh well - like you said - others feel the same so I'll accept I'm just missing the big picture

I can't believe, people vote Don't Cry on UYI2 off so quickly. I personally like it more, than the original version.

Yeah - Idk...it sounds like what it is - a fun little turd that they smartly decided not to put on a real album when they had the chance so many years ago.
Now they bless us with this because there's nothing new they choose to release and it beats out SCOM even though it was not on Appetite

I like the original better but back when these albums came out - that line always stood out to me as well and worked great into the song

I think the fantastic production on it that IMO beats the final AFD album helps it a lot. To hear the band in 1986 with the quality of 2017 like they're right there in front of you was indescribably cool to me when I first heard it.
