So sorry for your loss Sad

After all that news, I go down to see my mother and she's sick in bed.  Second time she's had that within a month.  We're not a family that goes to the doctor unless we are really sick but if it happens again, she's going.  She was feeling a little better in the afternoon.  She has a doctor appointment coming up so my sister will bring it up then.  My mother tends to turn her doctor visit into a social call.   hihi  My sister goes with her now and takes a list of concerns.

Finally, I came up with something to put on the card to go with the funeral flowers.  "May the good memories help you smile through the tears."  Except I didn't do flowers this time.  They have remembrance stones to put in your garden.  Out of stock on my first two choices but nothing says you got something from me than something for your garden.  My go to for funeral from now on.

Missed part of that.  Where are they detecting more covid in the waste water or is that everywhere in general?  I guess we rushed to quickly back to normal.  Looks like I'm going to age into the group that gets a second booster.

What is that, round 4?  Would like to say I'm tired of this shit and I am but, I can put my mask up.  Not losing this fight.

He's gonna regret that. BA.2 is spreading fast. It's now half of new cases. My bff yesterday was in the ER and said her hospital is over capacity with people with covid like symptoms.

I think it was more of a way to stop funding covid related things.  They are going to continue to monitor the situation.

I'm not due for another booster until June.  By then my insurance should decide if they will pay for another one.  Around here, covid is pretty much forgotten although I still see some folks masking up in group settings.

As of today, Sweden has removed all pandemic era regulations.

Travel to Sweden is unrestricted.

Congrats Smiley

My friends are getting a kick out of calling me grandma.  Er, I already have two.   hihi  This is my first birth related one.

Guess I'll pay for my funeral later.  Grandbabies to spend my money on.  My daughter wasn't too hot on the idea of me being cremated and compressing the dust into rocks.  I was kind of looking forward to her dropping a piece of me at Disneyland and skimming me into a cold, clear mountain lake.  I guess that is kind of dragging it out a bit.  I wonder what I would look like as a rock.  They say the color is different for everyone.

Wow, my S-I-L blacked out driving to work and rear ended the car in front of him.  He's had these spells since childhood but this is the first time driving.  He's having some heart tests done to see if there is something wrong with the heart that causes this.

Oh no!  The kid fucked up and told grandma about the car wreck.  Which prompted a call to me concerned about how he's going to make a living if he can't drive.  My mother is going to stew on this and then she's really going to freak when she finds out my daughter is pregnant.  You never want my mother worried about you.  She just won't let that go.  My siblings aren't doing anything that I can get her attention focused on them.  We're going to have to get some dirt on my niece.   hihi

Positive spin, we've given mom something to keep her brain active.  God damn it.   hihi

Cataract surgery is magic.  Took my sister in to have one eye done.  Two hours later and she has her distance vision back and doesn't even have any eye irritation.  Can I do that now?  I really miss my vision.  She's worn glasses all her life and once they do the other eye she won't need them.

Sent them this gift.

I'm thinking yeah, you're going to need more coffee.
The Adventure Begins, great way to think about it.
And look, a neckerchief for their fur baby.
The perfect gift.

Took me about 20 minutes to realize the neckerchief was a bib and not for the dog.   hihi
