I think if something comes out as a single concert, you need to look at what Slash is wearing, the bloke (rarely if ever wears the teeshirt from one day to the next, so any shows where the same shirt is worn at the same venue it is there where you will get continuity shots. Duff do likewise, however, has some more generic clothes that appear less of a change.

Axl is always changing during shows so not such an issue there, its expected,

Could be wrong though

That's usually the case with live material yeah.

Mind you, if Jarmo thinks none of the shows were actually recorded to the professional standard that would be required for a DVD release, then we could be looking at it not happening. There's a big difference between some snippets for PR/social media etc and a live recording that usually requires a director, and significantly more equipment. I'm lingering on the feeling that if this had happened, we'd be very aware of it. I was recently at a concert that was recorded for a live DVD release, and the cameras/equipment were very very visual and dominating.

Live audio recording is of course a different matter, and could well have been done for every show of the tour. In fact, I believe (I don't know for sure) that it's standard practice for many big tours to record every show for one reason or another.

They filmed Dodger Stadium in 2016 as far as I can remember so that would be the obvious choice

Oh yeah, I do remember something like that....

The plot thickens!

The filming equipment can be seen in the Youtube videos from the show. Second night I think....

Anyway, that's the only one I remember being filmed that wasn't for TV or someone else (like Rock In Rio, the Download Festival and Coachella)

What's next?

Obviously... Axl and Slash team up for a goofy buddy cop TV series called "Saul and the Ax-Man".

Probably nobody.  And, they are nominated for a Grammy this year, remember.

Which is why it was a (very long standing) joke referencing the fact that the rumor GnR are going to appear at those events pops up every year.

.....as well as the 'GNR to do the Superbowl halftime show next year?" rumours of course. They've been going on for at least a decade.

Man, after Maroon 5 on Sunday...maybe it's time to kill the half time shows musical guest.  Maybe just use that 30 min to show the "next big thing" (aka sitcom) on the network and let the folks in the stadium use the bathroom and grab a beer.  Ugh.....

Most critically, he says that Axl is contributing. Because we all know the rest of the band can write all they want but it means nothing unless Axl is participating.
