Really, what is the starting time this leg now.

Whatever it is but it should be constant because it has been in the past. It would simply help everyone to know.

Varies from place to place, and venue to venue I think. Different countries have different curfew rules. I'm always a 'the later the better' person when it comes to gigs personally!
Same here.
Berlin started around 7:15pm
I only found that out on show day. I woke up around 3pm so i had 2 hours before the opening act starts.
The later the better. Agreed.

The irony is that the majority of people (not me) have been bitching for 30 years that Axl starts too late.

But it exactly did not last time around in Europe. It was 8.45pm sharp everywhere and now they are starting just after 7pm.

There are no changed curfews this quickly and around Europe the rules are pretty similar anyway. No country demands to start this early.

While they are the most dangerous band in the world they still couldn't change the law in a year anywhere.
Might be because the shows on the last leg of the tour (north american arenas)
Shows were 3.5h-4h long. So they probably prepared the show times so they are allowed to play as long as they please.

This leg so far has been 2.40h -3h shows

I'm not a fan of starting at some ridiculous time but this isn't better either  rant

What time is it, I've got a few shows coming up. Is it 8.45pm or 7.15pm?

I don't care but which one is it.

Quite often venues will post stage times - and if not there's no harm in turning up early and seeing a few opening acts.

Shows I saw last year started at very different times. Just check with venues, or go along early and watch the supports. Get your money's worth!

They did though- as some random examples, London started at 7.45, Portugal on at 9.15, San Diego on at 7, Coachella 10.30, Tel Aviv on at 8 etc.

It's just a local laws/curfew/venue thing. Not a big deal - just worth arriving early, or checking in advance.

Ive never been a Frank critic, when he came on board I thought his sound fit the band more than brain, even though brain was maybe more talented. But I do think there's something wrong with the drums on shadow. ANd they all must agree on the speed, which is crazy. Its too fast.

It was my second show on the NITL leg. First one being the famous Hannover show last year.

Approx. 40000 people were there yesterday, security was ok, weather was ok. Nothing to complain about.

Show started at 7:29pm. A lot of people around came pretty late into the set. That happens when you still think that the band is always late. Wink

Overall it was a great experience again. Now and then the sound was weak (some echos), but it is normal for that venue.
Total playing time was slightly over 3 hours, maybe 3h10.

Fun fact:
Since you cannot pay by cash inside the venue (merchandise could be paid by cash though) you had to purchase a card. A nice thing to have since it was a GNR card. Had 2,60 Euro left on it but did not bother to get these bucks back and kept the card instead.

GNR played over 3 hours full of awesome songs  peace
The band and the crowd were in a very good mood  peace beer
I was standing in the front row and enjoyed every single moment of the show...
For me ...one of the best concerts I´ve seen from our band  Cool
My result ? Don´t miss to see GNR when you have the chance  love
