"Slither" sounded great, and was great that the crowd was into it. I always thought it was a killer track, despite lukewarm feelings on Velvet Revolver as a whole. It was always one of those "This could be a GnR song" feeling tracks. Nice addition to the set, and getting better with each show.

In what way does it sound like it could have been GNR? Even with Axl singing, it still does not sound like that.

I do hear some GN'R in it. I think because it's an existing song it's easy to just imagine Scott/VR and not hear the GN'R bits. But more than many VR tracks, they're in there.

Still not a huge VR fan though I have the first album

Great shots. How do you get the angles? Some from the side, some from front of stage, and some from higher up?

There was a balcony side stage.

After watching some youtube videos it looked like an awesome concern. The crowd was really into it.

Awesome pics Jarmo.

Is that Axl's dog Rosie on the back of his jacket?

If anything, I'd say Dirty Little Thing was the closest to a Guns track, it was a lot like Garden of Eden (but better IMO).

Any ideas when they might air some clips? I thought it would be live.

Sky Arts in UK are showing 2 highlights shows next Friday 29th and Saturday night 9pm till 12. The details don’t mention GnR though so no idea if they’ll show anything. Reckon maybe a couple of songs.

They only showed 2 songs in 6 hours worth of coverage. It’s So Easy and Jungle. Brilliant to see some pro footage though.

Coverage was pretty awful. Great to see some pro-shot stuff but the sound was all over the place for GNR and a few of the other bands over the 2 shows.
