I am super excited for this. I really hope Illusions are next. Make it so GNR  That being said I?m going to buy iTunes Super Deluxe version of this. I normally buy cd?s and rip them in a high quality file for my custom iPod?s. I then sell the cd?s back to my local record store. I haven?t had a cd, or vinyl, collection in many years now. The price for the physical version of this is pretty high and all the extra goodies are not something I need. I hope they consider basic cd formats that still have all the audio but without the extra swag in the future. Great time to be a GNR fan! I'm assuming you're not in the UK by use of the term 'store' rather than 'shop'? I might be interested in an arrangement like this, if anyone else would be in the UK - i.e. buying a boxset off someone who has already used it to make some high quality files for themselves. I'd be happy with secondhand, to make it more affordable |

I'm also hoping Use Your Illusion gets the same treatment for its 30th Anniversary. Based on all the goodies Axl let out of his collection for this box set, I'm sure he's got lots of UYI era stuff in there for future reissues/box sets. |

Great question. I would think the box set counts toward their album commitment. Thing is, I never understood why album commitments were something that should hold Guns back in any way. Can?t Axl just release several albums of farts and burps to get out of the record company contract and then release his real material independently? |
