 Grin

If anyone knows how to, why not do it ?
The tour has been so great, it would be awesome to have High Quality recordings from  the best performances of each song.

IF this has already been done. Scrap it.

They have like the entire UYI tour recorded and we've seen hardly anything that wasn't stolen. I'm sure there will be a DVD or CD, but petitions will go nowhere.

They could easily of done what many bands do- sell each show as a recording. There's a market for it- for some reason GNR have always been notorious in not wanting to take our money when it comes to unreleased studio recordings and live recordings! We'd buy 'em, they don't want to sell 'em!
I suppose they're making up for this lack of wanting our money with the current tour prices! Yikes!

There is the technology however for people to buy live recordings of the show they've just seen, Simply Red did this on a regular basis as do a load of other bands

I think its safe to say that this is for people who will actually buy the album. Either physical or Download.  However, thisIs not about the money that they don't want nor the money that Im willing to give them. Its about us, getting to hear soundboard mastered versions of those live performances.

I think a blu-ray video has more added value production-wise to the band. They can sell the physical and digital formats and also profit with a couple of YouTube videos (even tho I know Axl didnt like their revenue system). If they're planning on release any live recording with professional production, I think this would be way more likely than just audio.

But if they would release those raw soundboard recordings for the fans (or even in Spotify or something), of course it would be insanely cool.

Petitions for things like this are a wonderful idea. Guns N' Roses has a long history of doing exactly what it's fans want if enough of them sign a website. Hence, Axl's famous quotes "It's just like Burger King - Have It Your Way" and "Gee willickers, folks! What would you like me to do now? I'm only too happy to oblige!"

Pearl Jam sells pretty much every show they do for fans. It's pretty cool. I don't see GN'R doing that though. They may see it as devaluing the live experience, and would probably prefer a single live release at the end of the tour to represent it. I can see that happening similar to Appetite for Democracy.

This is exactly what I mean. A dvd would be nice, but I prefer a live "best of " from NOTL
