I don't reckon the pit is built there. That looks like they're still setting up to me. If you look again you can see a barrier that goes right around taking in what looks like the sound booth and speaker stacks away from the stage. I could be wrong but that looks like a pit area / Gold Cirle to me. |

Oh right! I've got you! I thought that was the entire gig, with the pit being the grey area right at the front. If that's not the case, then yeah- the pit is absolutely massive!

Yeah there is a section A & B in the gold circle, still looks big judging by the photo. I guess its not finished like you say. Look at this photo from a previous gig in Slane and you can see the pit area is fairly small http://musicscene.ie/musicScene/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Eminem_Slane_Castle_success_music_scene_ireland.jpgMaybe the barrier further back is just for crowd control. I'd say that's it. Thinking back to big gigs I've been to in the past, there's often a pit, then a another section behind it, just to ensure there are no big crowd sections. I really would reckon that grey bit at the front is the pit. If you look at the picture in that ticketmaster info link, the pit doesn;t seem so big.
Could you do us a favour at the gig by the way and take some pictures of the merch stands? If you can that is- no worries if you're not taking a camera or anything. I'd like to see what's on offer so I can try and restrain myself in advance and not get carried away!

Not too many hours to count down then  Something came up and I won't be home until about 9pm local time. Any idea if that is about the showtime? All new leg, this new song coming up and everything. I just wouldn't want to miss the start of this one. |

I just realised how stupid I feel. Off to the airport in a few hours flying south despite there being a show tonight to the opposite direction  I used to live by the beach for many years and am now landlocked because of work. So, I just want to go swimming in a sea and Italy is perfect for that Only Jarmo can go to all the shows and the rest of us need to choose what we want to do with life  |
