I just heard that there's a NEW festival in the Greater Helsinki area, Finland called Rockfest on 9th of June. They will announce their headliner on Friday.

Almost 100% sure that the headliner for that will be Rammstein. And when the festivals capacity is only for 25000 people, don't think that they'll gonna even try get GN'R too.

I think festivals are out for Europe- GNR want more money than they can afford to pay. I presume Download would have tried their best to get them, and if they haven't, I seriously doubt anyone has.

That's true. No way any festival in Finland can afford to pay for GN'R.

Still no poster/board sightings in the UK? I'd bet on at least one show- at Wembley or the new London Stadium.....

Think that was on here a couple of days ago if you read back. Or is it something different?

Announce the European 2017 tour already.  confused

Like others have said here I think we will get it early next week and tickets will be on sale end of next week in Europe at least. All these posters and banners have to mean something is coming sooner rather than later, well I hope so.

Would prefer indoor arena shows to Stadiums, but I guess the money they are getting / requesting for gigs,it will be stadiums.

Given the rumour that there is a press conference on Monday in Dublin for 'a major band' and the additional rumour that a show in Dublin will start the European tour, could we be looking at a member of the band flying out to Dublin on Monday, where they will use the start venue of the next leg of touring to announce the entire tour of Europe, Canada and USA?

London Olympic Stadium is 99.9 per cent confirmed. I've seen a seating chart on tichetmaster for the gig. They've removed it now, but it was there, for a fact. Pitch was all standing with a golden circle at the front, that looked bigger than the American ones. It had no date on it, but it's clearly there ready to go live.

I assume that means there'll be a show somewhere in the Netherlands...

If it'll be a stadium show in the Netherlands I'm guessing Amsterdam Arena.

But I wouldn't mind a nice outdoor concert in Nijmegen again, like in 2006

I heard through the grapevine that this coming Monday a Dutch show will be announced for Goffertpark.....So I guess on Monday the entire European tour will be announced.

Has any information come up regarding any dates in UK other than London? I expect the London one will be two nights- wonder if that's all the UK will get?

Other possibilities?

Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow maybe.

Not sure about Birmingham, stadium wise. Manchester, Glasgow, Coventry and Sunderland are options. The latter two aren't huge cities, but their stadiums have been used a lot in recent years for gigs. I've looked all through ticketmaster- can't find any slip-ups though like the London one!

Manchester would be my strongest guess in there- but I have a good friend in Manchester (who isn't remotely interested in GNR!) who I've had looking out for posters/signs etc. He's seen nothing.
