Here Today...

« on: August 15, 2016, 05:10:57 PM »

Been a life long fan (son's middle name is Axl, daughters middle name is "rose", first word was "slash") and didn't think I would be able to get to a show this tour. I grew up listening to this band. My schedule just opened up and I found out today I can get down to LA for the second show (I'm in Canada). I am really hoping to find a single pit ticket without spending a fortune. Does anyone have any extra tickets at a fair price? Thanks everyone for your help...been a (pretty much) daily visitor for years and years, and can't believe how amazing this tour has been (on periscope at least!). Want to do everything I can to see them.

Look on Ticketmaster. They've released a bunch of tickets for both LA shows, including Pit (Pit 1 for night 1, pit 2 for night 2, so far...).

There's so many tix available for night 2 that you should be able to get a great seat for under face value if you're savvy. I think even Pit would be at or below face value within the next few days.

Thanks cc...sadly I have been looking whenever I can today, but haven't seen anything in pit for second show...I will keep trying, but that's the thing...not too savy with this stuff Smiley I wonder if because I am only looking for one ticket, that it's harder? Oh well- I won't give up!

It's usually easier to get one ticket than pairs or more.
If Pit isn't available maybe just go for seats if those are open? I had nosebleeds in Toronto and with the screens they use, there's no bad view to be found.

Very true, I was in 434 in Arlington and i had a great view with the video screens. I was even able to get decent pictures with my phone even with being almost as far back as possible.

Thanks folks...that's very true, I have to put this into perspective...just the fact that I can get into a stadium to see my idols after waiting for over 20 years should be enough. pit would be nice but being there will be great no matter. I just booked my plane ticket and hotel tonight with no tickets to the show yet, but will be in the stadium both nights somehow so will be happy with that. Does anyone think I would have any chance of getting a pit from the box office on day of? And if anyone has a pit to spare for either night, please let me know...beers are on me!

How is the scalper situation, should I be worried about buying a ticket on the street around the stadium? Stick to stubhub (at worst) if need be?

I'd stick to stubhub if you can't get one through TM or through their resale.

TM's resale has ridiculous fees whether or not you have a strict budget. The $250 ticket I sold through TM cost the buyer $339, so you can do the math.
I think StubHub is a better bet.

Thanks for the help...a bit nervous, flight in morning, but no tickets...not having a lot of experience with this, do people here think i will be able to get good seats for a somewhat reasonable price tomorrow (via stubhub or tm)? Should I try showing up early (and how early) if pit tickets may be released at box office? Or should I buy a ticket I see now if I am (kinda) ok with price -wise...I see something for 375, but wonder if more pit will be released...trouble is I only need one, and so far when pit have been released it looks like you need to buy two.
