As far as cover songs go to me the only cover song on the list is The Seeker, to me KOHD & Live & Let Die are more synonomus with Guns N Roses then the guys who originally came out with them. the guitar bits that slash & richard do as others have stated give Axl a breather which he is going to need so I honestly don't think there are too many cover songs.

I prefer the guitar player that actually wrote Sorry. Can't really get better than the guy that wrote the song! I was saying the same thing when that guitar player was kiding but durring night train. Still not as good as slash
I like Slash as a guitar player better than Bucket... for me it is just a stylistic thing. With Slash you typically get minimal effects, It's basically a mildly modified Les Paul through a pretty basic Marshall Amp. With Bucket there were 1 million effects and kill switches and loopers. With that said I would a agree that 9 times out of 10 I would rather here the guy that wrote the solo play the solo. HOWEVER in this case we have never heard that happen live with Bucket. I do believe that Philly and Boston are 2 of the better live versions of Sorry that I've heard and the previous guys (DJ and Bumble tend to be pretty true to the original source material so I don't know that Bucket would have played it any different that them).
So that was my long winded way of saying Slash plays it better

wasn't that actually Robin Finck playing the solo (and possibly also writing the song)?

Axl, Brain and Bucket wrote the song but the main solo is Finck and sounds vintage Finck

If you guys are talking about Sorry, the main solo is Buckethead. The chorus leads are Bumblefoot's. Robin played rhythm and the accoustic guitar.

I'd love to hear it.
"If there's one Guns N Roses song I never want to hear again, it's that one."
"That's the sound of the band breaking up, right there."
--- Slash
I'd almost be willing to bet on hearing "One in a Million" live before "Sympathy for the Devil"!
I can just imagine how today's mega-PC generation would react to that tune!

I'd love to hear it.
I would love to hear one in a million live!
Axl could change some of the sensitive words out and the melody would still be great.
Dire Straits has done the same thing, for some sensitive words on the song Money For Nothing.
