if the government made efforts to uproot the medical and recreational marijuana industry nationwide in the u.s., how would it play out?

how do you see the future unfolding, within the u.s. and globally, in terms of marijuana?

i for one think the war against marijuana is futile, wasteful, racist, and causes low class citizens like myself to distrust the police force. living in japan and knowing that america forced an anti weed policy onto japan, that america will likely give up on that policy before japan does, and seeing how brainwashed japanese people have become regarding marijuana, makes me very bummed.

Guess that's why it's good there are elections
I don't think at this juncture we're going backwards, ..ever..but if something like that did happen it would reverse itself eventually

Well, i did all i could, my votes been cast... this is a country where a guy can rape a girl and cut off her arms, serve eight years and get out on good behavior, whereas a guy can serve a life sentence in jail for a non violent drug offense... not cool.

Fucking sheldon addleson... wants us in jail for sitting at home smoking weed and playing video games but is fine with us going to his casinos and developing gambling addictions while drinking and smoking cigarettes. Then tries to spin it like hes doing the right thing by donating millions of dollars to fight marijuana legalization because drugs are bad mmkay. I really hope that old son of a bitch chokes on his dentures.

Both Trump and Clinton aren't going to change how the federal government is handling it, so safe to say that there will be no change in how it is currently going state by state.

Colorado would be effed if it happened, they are making tons of revenue off of it.

Like booze, you will have responsible and irresponsible people as far as how an individual handles it recreationally.

Hope it passes medically here in FL next week.

I hope so too. You guys in florida also have adelson to thank for paying millions to keep medical marijuana out.

As for colorado, do you think the government could actually take it from them at this point? Wouldnt there be blood in the streets? I have no idea how to guess what would happen, but i thought someone might.

They won't touch medical weed, but that fucker Sessions will go after recreational, he already says he opposed to it. So the feds will try to deny states' rights, which of course will lead to more lawsuits. The whole Trump presidency will be embroiled in lawsuit after lawsuit.
