On SCOM, ROCKET, PC, and YCBM, he seems to Rasp out the entire 2nd half of the song.  He definitely controls it more and sings more than he used to.

All in all, he is doing incredible.  Civil War too he sounds the best he has since he sang it in 93.

Axl's voice is the most original of all time.  I think it is tough to analyze it.

We are getting the dream come true experience.

Does anyone know the name of the song that Slash plays before The Godfather Theme?  Or it is just his intro to the song and not a separate song?  (it starts around the 40 seconds mark)

Sounds like an improvisation on top of a flamenco theme/chord progression to me.

Yeah, he is eating it up! And he should, too! He's thrilled to be back in the GNR limelight and bring to fruition his lifelong dream. This might bring healing to his heart and help him overcome any of his final drug demons and bring closure to his internal war. He needed a little instruction on how to bow from the rest of the band, but his cluelessness was very rock n roll!

That scene could possibly be the final or one of the final scenes of the pending Guns N Roses biopic movie!!! All the members smiling and the final vindication of Adler.

You know how you can get Vegas odds on things at the SuperBowl like the over/under on how long it takes to sing the National Anthem or what color the dumped Gatorade will be?  Wonder what the over/under would be on how many seconds it took Axl to decide whether to spit out or re-swallow that little bit of throw-up in his mouth after reading that..... and of course, parlaying that with the decision.  hihi

I'd go with the under 7 seconds and spit it out puke

It almost sounds like from that little melody that he could as easily go into Anastasia as he does The Godfather... maybe we will hear him start to incorporate that into his solo.

The Adler thing does zero for me, but I'm not going to crap on it since it seems to be a big deal to so many of you.

Ultimately, nice to throw him a bone, I suppose.  Where's the harm?

I'm not familiar with Slash's solos material but did want to properly acknowledge it when posting the setlist if it was an actual song.
