Can someone explain how to use this mega?

I click on download as zip and wait and nothing happens. Where do the zip files go? I don't see them on desktop.

This is a really bad program because it is unusable.

Do you have to create an account or something?

Surely there is an easier and better way.

copy the URL to the show.
Open Firefox.
Paste URL.
show appears.
Rest is easy.

The problem is that mega appears not to work with Safari and that was my problem before.
