Appetite for Destruction and GN'R Lies

I've decided to start collecting Guns N' Roses records and merch. Been a fan since 1991 and now I need a hobby, so I thought, why not?
Been searching for the past 2-3 weeks for the first US press of Appetite and Lies and I've noticed that it's a bloody jungle (heh) finding the correct one.
I thought that Discogs would be a good place to start, but even there I noticed that 2-3 different versions claims to be the first version.

Starting with Appetite
I'm looking for the first press with the banned cover. Anything special I should be looking for? Did it or did it not came with a sticker (the cross) for an example? And should it have a warning label on the cover?

GN'R Lies seems to be a whole kind of a different beast.
I've understood that it SHOULD have a black bar over the lady, and that the text on the cover should read "Wife beating has been around for 10000 years" instead of Lies Lies Lies and "Ladies welcome to the dark ages" instead of Elephant gives birth to midget.
Anything else I should be looking for?

I would really appreciate your help. Looking forward to start collecting some Guns N' Roses albums.
