what's your dream venue or city to see gnr play. I'd love to see them play the 17th century coliseum in nimes France. Ramstien and Metallica have played at the venue and it looks amazing. Please like this post Fernando beer

That's a good one.  I hope that happens too.

Principality Stadium (Formerly Millennium Stadium) Cardiff, Wales.

Its a 72000 seater and has a closable roof AND Guns have never played in Wales.  Theyve done England, Scotland and Ireland, its time to add the last part of the British Isles to that list.

Besides, if its good enough for the likes of Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Chili Peppers and Sir Paul McCartney, it sure as hell should be good enough for the Gunners!

They will do INSANE business in Europe next year.

They were already doing stadiums in some spots the past few years.

Now?  Under these circumstances??  Multiple nights.

I agree.  Correct me if I am wrong but the "smallest" stadium on their US tour, in official capacity wise is Soldier Field, around 68000?

I get that that UK is a tiiiiiiiny bit smaller than the US but if they are rolling on the stadium gigs in Europe, for me the obvious ones have to be Wembley (multiple dates), Old Trafford, Hamden Park or Murrayfield, Croke Park or Slaine Castle in Ireland and the Principality in Wales.  Not including the likely appearance at a couple of Festivals.  Here's hoping  ok

Stadiums are just hard here.  Very few non-festivals pull it off.

Springsteen, Swift, Beyonc?, U2.  Stones when they feel like it.  That's the list.

Coldplay is trying.  Ticket sales are so so is a lot of markets.

Just hard here.

It depends on the amount of dates though IMO.

If Guns only schedule 5-6 dates in the UK at major Stadiums, people will travel.  If they do the arena tour, then why would someone from Birmingham or Newcastle travel to Manchester, Wembley or Hamden when they can go to the closer gig, albeit smaller venue.  Supply and demand I guess.  Itll be interesting when the European rumours start flying, what cities are linked.

I still believe that Stadiums in the UK and Europe can work but not if they are doing smaller more regional venues too.

I'd love them to play Murrayfield, since I live in Edinburgh.

And certainly not Hampden, because the transport links there are pish.

For the UK, though, I think it's more realistic that they would do some festival shows and maybe a couple of big London gigs (? Wembley), followed by maybe an arena tour a year later.

I think the Joint @ The Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas is the perfect concert venue. It's a full size stage which easily accommodates a full stage production and only holds about 5000 people where every single seat is amazing. I know a lot of people see doing residencies as something washed up has beens do, but I love them! Think about how awesome it would be to go to Vegas for 4-5 days, stay at the Hard Rock...knowing that you could and probably will bump into multiple members of the band in the casino, restaurants, gym, pool or elevator and then see them perform in a world class 5000 seat venue. I loved the first 2 residencies, but if they did one with this lineup at some point it would be complete insanity.

It's a cool thing for the fans, but from the band's viewpoint, especially at this point (after the reunion)... If you could choose between playing 1 stadium concert or 10 concerts at the Joint, what would you choose?

You make the same money, you would've played for the same total amount of fans, you do 1 day of work instead of 10.

But this is the "dream venue" thread, so I get it. It's a real cool thing for the fans.  Smiley

Any stadium in Europe will do for me. Personally I wish Bulgaria and the national stadium here in Sofia, but Wembely would be epic indeed.

1) is the love of playing to fans automatically connected to making big bucks?
2) if no: If you love playing and the fans - no prob
3) if you wanna make as much money as you probably can - "working" as lil as possible...😉
4) I stupidly hope for Guns to play for the joy of doing it. Not ONLY - but mostly 😉
5) I am very well aware of dreaming...😉😘
