As great as the setlist is, and as satisfying as it is to see the likes of "Coma," Double Talkin' Jive," and "Estranged," I hope they choose to throw in other UYI deep cuts throughout the tour, as well as "Don't Cry."

I think they will. Lets see what they play tonight. In the past, when doing 2 nites, same city, they've shaken it up. Also...if they are gonna do a marathon set any time soon, tonight is best odds. They are off  til Coachella...which will have time constraints.

You are literally the ONLY person I've seen/heard say that so far. You're entitled to your opinion obviously, but you seem to be in the extreme minority on this one.

Edit - after your post a few more people joined you. But still. I didn't catch the whole show. Decided to call it quits around 4am. I thought he sounded quite good though, even on that less than perfect stream.

Nikki is usually on the outside of things, as people "try" to make me feel like as well, but I must disagree, I thought overall Axl sounded really good. He was sitting down, your voice has it's power shortened like that just a little.

It was easier on his voice, but it is really tough singing sitting down, much less his vocal style.

Axl Rose sang good last night. No issues.

Yeah aside from "Coma", "This I Love" was my personal highlight for the show.

Slash's version at first didn't take really well with me, as it was very different. Slash's version has a little more smoothness and soul to it. It's really good, and interesting.

I think I still like Robin's clean and soaring version a little better. But I do love both.

I disagree, actually.

There's some negative pieces in there. But I would actually say, on the whole, its a pretty POSITIVE review of the actual show.

Would love if Slash switched from the Godfather theme to "Safari Inn." I also couldn't shake the thought of how amazing it would have been if they broke into "Anastasia."

"Catcher in the Rye," "The Blues," and "IRS" would make great additions too.

There is so much to choose from that it's dizzying.

I disagree, actually.

There's some negative pieces in there. But I would actually say, on the whole, its a pretty POSITIVE review of the actual show.

I also read it as being quite positive, especially for a GnR review by MSM

Ok, let's put some of the negative aside. What did you guys think about Slash's take on This I Love? I feel we heard the solo he originally did in the 90s.. I dunno, but it had nothing in common to Robin's aside from the very first note.

I REALLY like it. Its not like the album...more bluesy, which you expect, but it totally fits.

If people bitch it doesnt spund like the album...they dont get it.

Well, I get somewhat. I really really love Robin's original solo. To me it has more punch and time for the instrumental to breath. But Im getting used to Slash's version and I definately rather listen to his take than getting some half-assed attempt to play Robin's version.

I don't understand why people are getting so excited about Estranged....they have played that consistently since 2012.  It's not a surprise addition.

And Don't Cry is in the same boat (obviously missing last night).

I think the buzz/focus should be on COMA.....like comeon that is a DREAM addition!

Its a matter of getting used to it...we are used to Robins solo since forever...it indeed sounds strange to hear another take on a solo that is already established and solidified in our memories! At first it sounds strange to me, but I will get used to it as I listen more to it!
