I hate to say it, but I do wish Axl's vocals had just a little more grit to it. Like a bit more bite ya know?

He's lacking some gravel to his voice I guess or rasp.

He still sounds good, and the show is going great!

I am not saying I know how he sings, but I sing too and there's quite a difference between singing standing up or sitting down. I guess his voice suffers a bit from sitting right now. Still sounds amazing to me though

you both got it right. Axl always sounds bad ass when singing in his low register. he sure lacks rasp when singing in his high register. sitting and singing isn't the best option though. you probably have to put more effort into your singing, especially when trying to hit these high notes. but I'm not a professionel singer...
