I don't have a citi card but when i tried checking out I couldn't with my credit card, it was giving me errors but i clicked on other payment options and used visa checkout and it worked perfectly.
what info u give on the Visa checkout option? it says username and password, what should I put there? my ticketmaster username and password?

go to the actual website and create an account, once you create one it makes you add your visa and then once you do that, you use the visa checkout option enter your login and password and thats it

OK, just for my own curiosity, I clicked on the map where you can pick your seat. Wanted to see how things were selling.
I checked a few different cities. And its broken down by section : many left, a few left, no matches, etc.
Now, there is no way in hell that all the "no matches" areas, which are gray, are tickets that are already sold. Right? I assume there are some that are not even released until the general sale, correct?
Does anyone know?

After my experience I decided to stay away from the forums because I was so revved up.
I got in at exactly 10am for the Philly show (I can't make the NY show because of a friend's wedding), I had been practicing my password (since you were not allowed to copy and paste supposedly) and I was scoping other Lincoln Financial Field shows to see how the 'Best Available' worked and where to select General Admission specifically. Immediately I was told there were none available and I was offered seats on the floor in the back section. Because my wife wants to go and she is short I knew that I couldn't get those floor seats that don't have any tiered seating. Right away I switched to the lower level bowl because they have tiered seating. I got really good seats in section 137 row 11 which are tiered so I will be there and it will be fun.
But I am actually annoyed to read that GA was available in the Citi presale. Sort of a slap in the face to us Nightrain members. I still feel confident that I will be able to sell my tickets if I got GA, but I won't mind being in the seats I got if it comes down to it.

I eel a bit ripped off from the Nighttrain presale. I went on right away and ticketmaster kept getting stuck searching (and alot of errors too). After 40 minutes I pulled up a decent pair in section 108 for Seattle. Then last night for shits and giggles I went to check out what was available and noticed the CITI presale. There's tickets all over the map. I don't think I've ever seen a presale that big. Had I tried harder maybe I would of gotten GA as soon as that presale started.
As it stands I know have row L in section 106 (Row 12 in the wings that's right by the stage/pit). The wierd part was the section beside the stage/pit was only $150 instead of $250. Now I've got to sell my section 108's.. ugh.
I feel I paid $45 for nothing. I don't think they put any GA tickets in the Nighttrain presale. Best tickets I saw from seattle were at least 3 sections back from the stage. Nothing in the first 10 rows of the floor. Citi had tickets everywhere.

Is it possible Citi cut a better deal with Ticketmaster? One that was already existing, before Nightrain got in the game?
I have no idea, just theorizing

I honestly think all these pre sales are a total joke.
I am waiting for the general public tickets to go on sale.
I have a feeling I probably won't find anything good and will be forced into getting the tickets through a third party website.
I do not have any of these specific credit cards nor do I want them.
I do not want a fan membership or at short or a hoodie or anything else.
I want a simple ticket as close to the stage as possible with a seat and I am willing to pay.
Pre sales stink. Especially when there is around 4 separate ones going on at the same time.

But Bacon, if you wait until the secondary market, you are going to get raped.
The seats you are talking about are running $746, face. Can you imagine what the mark up will be?

Question... other than the perks of the VIP tickets, what's the difference between VIP tickets and pre-sale tickets? Are there cheaper tickets alongside general sale and pre-sale tickets?

I don't want to have to wait till the secondary market
I would just like to log in and buy what I want when tickets go on sale. Just a ticket.... Nothing else. No VIP experience, no all I can eat or drink.
The tickets I am looking at are roughly 500. So pretty much 750 Canadian. If I have to pay a couple hundred more on a third party I will. Mind you I am also paying around 500 for a flight and 500 for a hotel for a weekend, as I am in western Canada.
This sure wont be cheap, but it shouldn't be this hard to get a normal ticket!

Ticketmaster is now selling "platinum seating" for all of the GNR shows - for example in Toronto, you can get GA PIT for $850 Canadian or section A6 seats, row 5 for $850 (but you have to buy two tickets, so $850 x 2). This morning they had section A7, row 1 on sale for $1200 x 2. It's no longer listed, so assume someone bought it. And no, it wasn't me, LOL!
There is a special tab called "Platinum Seating" on the GNR Ticketmaster page. Here is the link for Toronto:

VIP tickets were made available to the general public on Saturday as well
While I too was disappointed with the NT pre sale, I am now very pleased with the tickets I purchased! Looking forward to a great night out in a couple of months!
